2. low sec mission.... guys out for me - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Hi guys, I'm currently trying to do a lvl 3 mission. Unfortunately, it's in lowsec an when I try to do it, well combat ships keep on popping up on my scanner as well as combat probes. So naturally, I GTFO. The thing is, the system seems to be soli...

3. neural remap, am I doing it right? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Thank you both for your replies. I think I'll stick to my "end" remap then. I hear what you're saying about "min-max", and yes, it's probably mathematically optimized, but I'd rather take a little bit longer to train everything then suck stones fo...

4. neural remap, am I doing it right? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Hey guys, I've looked into neural remaps and my skill training times and it appears that clearly, If I want to go anywhere soon, I'm going to have to do it. Seeing as I'm mainly doing PVE (a tiny bit of PVP) and no industrial whatsoever activities...

5. Directional Scanner - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Ok guys, thanks for your answers. My Dscan was set correctly on 360¦. What I failed to realize was that even with max range (14AU), well... certain systems are bigger than that. I know. Noobie mistake, I'm going off to whip myself right now.

6. Directional Scanner - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
OK, might be a part of the problem. Can DScan fail though? Is it possible, for something to be in range (a ship for example) and not get picked up?

7. Directional Scanner - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Hi guys, I have a couple issues with my directional scanner... I entered max range (long string of 9s), and tried both with active overview settings (my overview picked up ships and stargates and stations) and without overview settings. Sometimes,...

8. Brutix fit (PVE) - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Hey Skex, thank you for your training list and advice. My skill set looks very different from what you posted, since I wasn't big into drones until recently. I'll take your advice on cross-training Minmatar weapons since I do have the feeling hybr...

Edited by: Viktor Larue on 23/02/2011 19:26:00 Thank you both for the constructive comments. I'll try out your suggestions and yes, I'm flying the wrong boat for PVE. But I play this game to have fun flying what I like and I do hope CCP has ma...

10. Brutix fit (PVE) - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Yeah, I was anticipating that kind of answer. Unfortunately, I didn't have the money for a Myrm and gear to outfit it. Just pretend you REALLY wanted to do it with a Brutix. WWYD?

11. Brutix fit (PVE) - in Ships and Modules [original thread]
Hi guys, I'm pretty new to the game (<30 days playing) and I've just bought a Brutix after getting my Thorax blown up while missionning... I've done my research, I know they're not the best ships intended for PVE so please spare me with the "n0...
